I am a brand, marketing and communications professional who is committed to achieving the best possible results. My strengths include strategic thinking, planning, implementation and analysis. My thought leadership, skill base, experience and enthusiasm drives results. I have a willingness for learning and enjoyment of working in teams and building great relationships. 

One of my claims to fame is running my own advertising agency, with partner Fraser Carson, for 21 years from the early 90s. 

Our beloved FRESCO was a boutique agency delivering transformational ad campaigns to successful clients including the Institute of Chartered Accountants, PPTA (Post Primary Teachers Association) and the New Zealand Labour Party (three election campaigns). Very proud of the work our team accomplished including strategists, planners, designers and project managers. 

I have spent the last five years working as the Strategic Partnerships and Communications Manager for Water Safety New Zealand. Over time I will post examples of my work here, detailing the importance of drowning prevention education and social marketing campaigns I have had the privilege to work on. My tenure at Water Safety New Zealand ended in February 2022.

From website development, member marketing to social marketing behaviour change campaigns, my experience has led me to this chapter in my journey. Providing consultancy services helping organisations achieve their outcomes, with efficiency, flair but most importantly, impact.

I have held governance positions on the board of the Katherine Mansfield House & Garden (Birthplace Trust), NZ Hawaii Business Connections and the Wellington Children's Christmas Parade Trust. My committee roles have including being a member of the WRFU Code of Conduct review committee and the Western Suburbs Rugby Club (Wests).
